VTUSA Announces Angie Faraci as Director Of Operations
Vermont United Soccer Academy (VTUSA) is pleased to announce Angie Faraci as the club’s new Director of Operations.
In this new role Angie will take the day-to-day duties of club operations. She will use her impressive organization and communication skills to enhance the experience for all of our club members as she works to support and improve the club’s mission.
Angie has a background in athletics that extends over 35 years. She is in her 29th year as a Physical Education and Health Teacher. Her coaching experience includes DIII collegiate, premier club, high school, middle level as well as community recreation soccer programs. She holds a National Level Diploma coaching license from the United Soccer Coaches (USC) and a FIFA C certificate. She also has over 10 years of administrative experience as the Athletic Coordinator for Browns River Middle School and the Director of Operations for the Nordic Soccer Club.
Angie will continue her work with athletes as the VTUSA U14 Boys coach for the 2023-24 season. She is most currently recognized for her head coaching role of Peoples Academy Boys Varsity Soccer Program (2016-2023). Her teams won two D3 State Championships and also finished as D3 runner-up during her seven years at the helm. Angie is the first and only female head coach of a boy’s varsity soccer program in Vermont to win not only one, but two state titles.
As a soccer player herself, Angie earned a NCAA DIII collegiate National Championship title (1992) with four years experience as an NCAA DIII athlete with multiple All SUNYAC and Division III accolades.
Angie is a local community member who lives in Hyde Park with her husband Vin (Head Athletic Trainer at Lamoille Union High School), her sons Vance and Marcus as well as her two dogs Joey and Cookie. She teaches Physical Education to grades 5-8 at Peoples Middle Level and will begin coaching boys soccer for Lamoille Union Middle School grades 7 & 8 this fall.
VTUSA is excited to utilize all of Angie’s skill sets to further our club mission and to enhance the growth of our local community soccer club. Angie’s passion for the sport of soccer is the guiding light of her career in athletics.
